What we are looking for

Yourzine China is currently searching for a senior Drupal programmer that can lead a small team of Drupal programmers for a number of specialized social network projects. You will be leading a small and dedicated team especially setup for these projects.

As a candidate you should be a specialist in building the back-end of websites, mainly CMS systems and custom web applications. You will be asked to use PHP, MYSQL and other languages to develop these platforms.

Besides these development skills, you should be able to take responsibility for these projects by turning idea’s into documentation and technical specifications, be in charge of the projects schedules, etc. Good people skills are also important in order to lead and motivate the team.

- Develop custom social network websites using the Drupal CMS system;
- Be able to work in a team;
- Be able to work according to specifications and professional project management standards;
- Guide your team members;
- Be able to turn idea’s into technical specification documents and project schedules;
- Be able to communicate with international customers

Requirement and Qualifications

We expect the candidate to have proven experience in being a web developer or software engineer in WEB related development projects. When working with PHP, MYSQL and other programs developing Web applications, the candidate must have the ability and skill to manage the whole project. Of course, being motivated and fast-learning is also very important.

- Fluent in oral and written English and Mandarin is a plus;
- A minimum of 4 years’ web application development related experience;
- Have at least 2 years experience developing with Drupal;
- Have experience in leading a (small) technical team;
- Have experience in writing (technical) project documentation;
- Have excellent programming skills in PHP;
- Have experience in database development using MYSQL;
- Have experience in Linux / Unix;
- Familiar with XML and ASP is a plus;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Experience with Joomla, Word press and other open-source CMS Systems is a plus;
- Familiar with HTML, CSS and Javascript;
- Be willing to work from our office for the duration of the projects;
- University study background with Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, software programming is a plus.
